Unanet A/E Integrates Stripe to Help Architecture, Engineering Firms Get Paid Faster
May 11, 2020
Dulles, VA, May 11, 2020 – Unanet A/E powered by Clearview, the flexible project-based ERP software purpose-built for the architecture and engineering (A/E) industries, announced today it has integrated market-leading payments processing technology from Stripe. This new feature helps A/E firms significantly reduce the time and effort needed to receive payment from their clients. The Stripe feature is integrated with Unanet A/E’s new invoice delivery and payments function, which streamlines invoicing with enhanced tracking tools, automated reminders, and online payment facilitation that supports both ACH and credit cards. The functionality also includes financial reconciliation and reporting. “Helping A/E firms get paid more quickly and efficiently through the Stripe integration is another example of how we’re investing in our software to give customers a more robust and feature-rich experience,” said Assad Jarrahian, chief product officer, Unanet. “We anticipate further functionality and enhancements to our A/E product line in 2020, and we’re committed to our customers in the architecture, engineering and construction space.” The Stripe integration comes on the heels of several new features for Unanet A/E including an easy-to-use web app. Already Unanet A/E customers and partners are taking advantage of the payment processing technology, including PMP Technik Solutions Group. “We just received our first payment through Unanet A/E and Stripe,” said Larry Potts, CEO PMP Technik Solutions Group. “The new app immediately streamlined our overall billing cycle, making it easier for us to process and deliver invoices; while at the same time offering our clients several easy options for paying online. Another great aspect is the automated reminder feature which has taken pressure off our staff to have to manually remind clients when payments are overdue. It is significant improvements like this that allow us to focus on and deliver the high-degree of professional services our customers expect and deserve.” To learn more about Unanet A/E’s payment facilitation powered by Stripe, please visit https://exportunanet.wpengine.com/erp-for-a-e/. As heartily as businesses have welcomed the CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security) Act, the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), and other federal relief measures during the current coronavirus crisis, the aid comes with an additional compliance workload for the businesses that benefit from it. Unanet Featured in PYMNTS.com The architecture and engineering (A&E) supply chain is a complex web of designers, builders, contractors and sub-contractors, project owners and more. With multiple business models available to initiate and complete a project, the flow of cash from one participant to the next is often bottlenecked as a result of procedural inefficiencies and a lack of digitization. For A&E firms, the concept of a centralized port of back-office data in the form of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is a valuable proposition to help ease some of this complexity and strengthen B2B relationships. But the unique intricacies of the sector mean the average ERP solution can’t always suit the industry’s needs – especially when it comes to B2B payments. Read the full article on PYMNTS.com.
