Unanet’s ERP Solutions Earn High Honors in Latest G2 Ratings

by Carrie MahonERP Software Best Practices, News and Announcements

Jan 06, 2022

The users of project project-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems have once again rated Unanet’s solutions among the best in their class. Independent ratings issued in late 2021 by the organization G2 based on reviews by actual users put Unanet ERP GovCon and Unanet ERP AE among the best-performing ERP solutions in a wide range of categories. Each landed in G2’s Top 5 highest-rated among project-based ERP offerings. Unanet ERP GovCon ranked at the top of its class in the “ease of doing business with,” “meets requirements” and “quality of support” categories. Among the Unanet ERP GovCon features that users rated highest were its project maps, subcontract tools and project procurement capabilities. Unanet ERP GovCon also rated among the top three in its class in terms of user adoption. As for Unanet ERP AE, it was the only ERP solution purpose-built for architecture and engineering firms to earn a spot among G2’s Top 5 highest-rated project-based ERP products. Unanet ERP AE had the shortest payback period (ROI) of any ERP in its class: an estimated eight months. Users rated it highest in the categories of “ease of doing business with,” “meets requirements” and “ease of admin.” It’s a repeat performance for the two ERP Unanet products, which in recent years have steadily placed at or near the top of G2’s ratings, a testament to the quality of the products themselves as well as the support we provide our customers. Meanwhile, Unanet CRM also perennially ranks at or near the top of its class in G2’s ratings of customer relationship management solutions for the construction industry, as rated by actual users. Instead of resting on those laurels, accolades like the G2 rankings only increase our drive to innovate on behalf of the government contractor and architecture/engineering/construction clients that rated us so high in the first place. To them, we say thanks for making the effort to participate in the G2 rankings, and get ready for a wealth of new project-based ERP and CRM features, tools and capabilities from Unanet throughout 2022.

Legacy provider’s forced upgrade spurred original change to Unanet Dulles, VA, Nov. 18 2021 – Unanet, the leading provider of project-based ERP and CRM solutions for the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industries, announced today that Hixson Architecture, Engineering and Interiors renewed its agreement with Unanet ERP to streamline its digital transformation and project management. Hixson renewed after more than a decade of success with Unanet solutions. Headquartered in Cincinnati, Hixson has built a national reputation as a leader in the architecture and design space over the last 73 years. Specializing  in four areas including food + beverage, workplace, retail, and science + technology, the company is consistently listed among the top firms in the United States and was named a 2021 Top 100 Rising Giant by Interior Design Magazine. Originally, Hixson was using a legacy ERP system to manage all of its operations but learned it would need significant and expensive upgrades because the software provider was planning to sunset the product and stop supporting it. After evaluating a range of options, including making a costly upgrade or facing no future technical support,  Hixson made the decision to switch to Unanet AE, which resulted in immediate results. By implementing the Unanet AE ERP platform, Hixson had a full array of new capabilities, functionalities, and automations at their fingertips. Their staff were empowered with automated paperless invoicing, analytics dashboards that provided real-time visibility into project status and resource deployment, and wizard-style tools that helped them quickly and easily add projects and clients. Hixson’s teams also took advantage of extensive customizations that allowed them to track and report on the firm’s department-centric structure and workflows, providing more meaningful metrics that helped them make better business decisions. “Unanet helps us to get in front of issues before they become problematic,” said Christian Fasso, billing manager and project accountant, Hixson. “Analytics are the bread and butter of how we manage our business and Unanet’s unique dashboard allows us to see trends and make decisions in real-time – without having to go through a bunch of spreadsheet gymnastics to get there.” Unanet AE is purpose-bult ERP for architecture, engineering and construction firms and offers a powerful combination of project management, business intelligence, time & expense tracking, financial prospect management and integration tools in the one single source. Why We Chose Unanet: Hixson Architecture, Engineering and Interiors

by Lucas HaydenA/E, News and Announcements

Nov 18, 2021

Why We Chose Unanet: Hixson Architecture, Engineering and Interiors                                                        The Firm: Hixson Architecture, Engineering and Interiors is a Cincinnati, Ohio-based firm that has built a national reputation in four areas of specialization: food + beverage, workplace, retail and science + technology. Founded in 1948, Hixson partners with some of the most well-recognized brands in the world, delivering insight, advocacy and intelligent project execution through 16 integrated in-house design and technical disciplines, supported by the expertise of 120 associates. This year, Hixson ranked #8 on ENR’s Food and Beverage Design Firms List, and among ENR’s Top 30 for Industrial Design, while also landing on Commercial Construction & Renovation (CCR) Magazine’s annual Top Engineering and Architecture Firms lists. When executives at the architecture, engineering, and interior design firm Hixson received word that their ERP system would soon be sunset, it wasn’t exactly the kind of news that a fast-growing company in the midst of digital transformation and recovering from a deep economic recession wants to hear. “We were going to lose support for the [ERP] system we were using,” recalls Christian Fasso, billing manager and project accountant at Hixson, “so we had to decide, do we stay with that unsupported system and keep our fingers crossed that something within the system wouldn’t blow up, or do we see what else is out there? Ultimately, we decided we didn’t want to go with a system that was unsupported.” That decision continues to pay significant dividends for Hixson — dividends that firm decisionmakers like Fasso hardly could have foreseen when they opted to go with an ERP software solution from Unanet. Rather than sticking with the bigger-name provider and its soon-to-be-orphaned legacy system, they chose Unanet’s modern software to reinvigorate their operations. Since implementing Unanet ERP AE, Hixson has taken full advantage of its expanding array of capabilities, functionalities, and automations, including: Automated paperless invoicing; Analytics dashboards for real-time visibility into project status and resource deployment; Resource scheduling capabilities to manage people and their workloads more efficiently; Interactive Actions, wizard-style tools to help quickly and easily add projects and clients, streamline workflows, and automate data across the firm; and, Integrated extensive customizations that complement the firm’s unique department-centric structure and workflows. In Unanet, Hixson has a long-term ERP solution that delivers a range of benefits to the firm and its project, HR, accounting, and finance teams. Highlights include: BETTER HIRING, GROWTH AND RESOURCE DECISION-MAKING. Real-time project insight and resource scheduling tools enable project managers and departmental decision-makers to see how projects are tracking from a resource standpoint relative to budget, then scale project teams accordingly. A CLEARER, MORE ACCURATE PICTURE OF PROJECTS IN PROGRESS. Dashboard-based analytics powered by real-time project data provide project decisionmakers and employees with a single easy-to-navigate way to track a huge range of project-specific and firm-wide data, including budget, production planning, and project labor, and then gauge it versus Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). EFFICIENCY GAINS ACROSS THE BUSINESS. Adding value to clients and increasing firm revenue without increasing headcount is the holy grail for an A/E business. With the ability to automate key functions like production planning, resource scheduling and invoicing that previously involved labor-intensive and often redundant paper-shuffling and data-entry, Hixson is saving 8 hours per week on average. Unanet’s First Annual Architecture, Engineering and Construction Survey Reveals Strong Optimism

by Lucas HaydenA/E, News and Announcements, Unanet A/E News

Oct 04, 2021

New AEC Inspire report shows firms that use data regularly outperform others Dulles, VA, Oct. 4, 2021 – Unanet, the leading provider of project-based ERP and CRM solutions for the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industries, today released the first annual AEC Inspire Report, which surveyed more than 175 leaders from AEC companies ranging from $1M – $250M+ in annual revenue. With more than 86 percent of data-driven firms expecting a revenue or profit increase in 2021, the results show an overwhelming sense of optimism driven by the COVID-19 rebound, as well as the potential for significant new infrastructure spending. However, AEC firms are also struggling to use data effectively to help streamline and manage their growth-oriented businesses, according to the report. “As AEC firms prepare for growth and the next generation of leaders, our first AEC Inspire report shows that most AEC firms are still in the midst of their digital transformations and are pushing to have more collaborative, analytics-driven and cloud-based solutions,” said Akshay Mahajan, General Manager of AEC for Unanet, and one of the report’s co-authors. “Progress towards more modern, data-driven solutions will be central to attracting and retaining new talent and realizing strategic growth. The report demonstrates that firms that regularly use data to manage their businesses have better revenue and profit growth rates, underscoring the benefits of pursuing digital transformations.” Cross-referencing revenue and profitability with AEC firms’ data use shows that companies that use data on a regular, daily basis to operate their business significantly outperform those that do not. Among the other key findings of the AEC Inspire Report: Profit and revenue are top of mind for business leaders but managing backlogs, chasing accounts receivable and labor utilization are also identified among the most important financial and operational metrics. 57 percent of respondents indicated that forecasting is their main project management challenge. A significant percentage of firms report they are not tracking essential sales metrics such as client satisfaction, repeat business, bid-to-win ratios and the number of submitted proposals, although they would like to have the tools to do so. “The recurring theme we see in this year’s AEC Inspire report is that digital transformation is having a direct impact on better revenue and profits,” said Lucas Hayden, Director of AEC Strategy for Unanet. “As AEC firms become more data-driven, not only do they improve their ability to make strategic decisions more confidently, a shift occurs in the culture as they take pride in newfound efficiencies and their ability to leverage the insights they need to be successful.” To download the 2021 AEC Inspire Report, please visit https://info.unanet.com/aec-inspire-report-fall-2021 About Unanet Unanet is a leading provider of project-based ERP and CRM solutions purpose-built for Government Contractors, architecture, engineering, construction, and professional services. NewFields Switches to Unanet AE

by Lucas HaydenA/E, News and Announcements, Unanet A/E News

Sep 27, 2021

New ERP will give worldwide firm integrated reporting, interactive analytics and better customer service than legacy provider Dulles, VA, Sept. 28, 2021 – Unanet, the leading provider of project-based ERP and CRM solutions, today announced that NewFields, a global environmental, engineering and construction management firm, has switched its ERP solution and will implement Unanet ERP for Architects and Engineers. NewFields made the decision to change its ERP systems due to Unanet’s industry-leading customer service, software integration capabilities and customer-first innovation. Founded in 1995, NewFields is a 350+-person firm headquartered in Atlanta and with 19 offices in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the U.K. It serves clients in a variety of industries, including mining, oil & gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and transportation. Over the past few decades NewFields operated its offices separately, with unique business functions and processes in each. Its existing ERP solution did not enable it to generate business-wide, cross-office reports, analytics, billing or HR information. “Our legacy technology restricted us so we operated in a siloed fashion, generating 10 different reports for 10 different offices and it was impossible to get a wholistic view of the business,” said Eric Salnas, Chief Financial Officer for NewFields. “With Unanet we’ll eliminate that issue and be able to be more proactive and data driven in our business and make decisions that support our strategic vision for growth, talent management and efficiency.” Another reason NewFields selected Unanet AE was Unanet’s ability to respond directly to NewFields’ requirements with innovation and specialized solutions. Unanet demonstrated creative and proactive thinking when tasked with solving one of NewFields’ billing challenges. Rather than force-fitting an existing function, Unanet innovated and resolved this challenge for NewFields. “Unanet is truly engaged and committed to us and our business,” continued Salnas. “We don’t feel like a ticket number, but instead a true partner. We get their full attention and they bring creativity, technological innovation and a superior product to the table.” “NewFields has demonstrated outstanding customer service, growth and market leadership since it’s been in business, and we are honored to work with them as they implement their strategic vision,” said Matt Pantana, senior vice president, A/E products. “Forward-thinking companies like NewFields prefer to work with Unanet because we’re a combination of technology, service and culture.” Unanet AE is purpose-built ERP for architecture and engineering firms and offers a powerful combination of project management, business intelligence, time & expense tracking, financial, prospect management and integration tools in one single source. Independent industry analysts confirm that Unanet is an industry-leader in customer support, usability, implementation and customer relationships. Why We Chose Unanet: NewFields

by Lucas HaydenA/E, News and Announcements

Sep 27, 2021

The latest in an ongoing series highlighting a new Unanet customer and why it selected Unanet’s ERP solution over other options The firm: NewFields (www.newfields.com), a global environmental, engineering and construction management consulting firm whose areas of specialization range from environmental engineering and renewable energy to mining design and construction management. Founded in 1995, the 350+-person firm is headquartered in Atlanta, Ga., and has 19 offices in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the U.K. It serves clients in a variety of industries, including mining, oil & gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and transportation, and has completed projects in 70 countries. As intentional — and successful — as the leadership at NewFields has been in cultivating an empowered, less hierarchical structure and culture across its 19 offices, the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system that the firm has been using for the last nine years was undermining that effort at every turn. Rather than breaking down data siloes and enabling the free flow of information and insight across the enterprise, as the best ERP systems are designed to do, the system on which NewFields has been relying was doing the opposite, according to Eric Salnas, CPA, the firm’s Chief Financial Officer. The NewFields headquarters in Atlanta, he explains, functions primarily as a shared service center to support the firm’s local offices, ensuring they are coordinated and integrated from a systems and processes standpoint, while preserving their autonomy. But the ERP system was working at cross purposes, thwarting the headquarter office’s ability to integrate and coordinate, while at the same time hampering the autonomy of the firm’s local offices. From the headquarter office where Salnas works, “to get any sort of data easily from across our local offices was almost impossible,” he says, because of the rigid, siloed nature of the ERP system. Answering a request to provide a list of projects performed for a certain oil & gas client, for example, could require someone to pull 10 different reports from 10 different local offices. Meanwhile, when local office employees needed to access data or run a report, they had to submit a request to the headquarter office instead of simply accessing that information themselves. “That created friction between the central office and our local offices,” Salnas says. For he and the NewFields leadership team, finding a new ERP system was imperative. “Sticking with [the legacy system and provider] was never an option.” After casting a wide net for a successor and bringing a handful of candidates in for demos, the firm chose Unanet ERP AE for several reasons: The Unanet team treated the NewFields team like a true partner. “We wanted personal attention, not to be treated like a ticket number,” Salnas says. What’s more, “it felt like a great cultural fit.” Unanet’s expertise and experience in ERP for engineering firms are a resource for customers. Asked during the final interview to explain how they would troubleshoot a particularly complex billing issue, the Unanet team “blew us away” with its on-the-spot innovation. “That was the deciding factor,” he says. Unanet ERP AE integrates seamlessly with other go-to software. Via the Unanet Connect integrations marketplace, NewFields can access pre-built application connectors to build out a digital ecosystem. Its first integration is with Concur, the firm’s preferred travel and expense software. Having completed several rounds of staff training with Unanet ERP AE, NewFields is slated to go live with its new ERP solution in fall 2021. From both the headquarter office and local office perspectives, the implementation couldn’t come soon enough, Salnas says. “From Day One, we’ve told people they are going to finally be able to access their own data, that they can add a PO, update their budgets, or run a dashboard entirely on their own, and they’re thrilled about that. Our headquarter office can add much more value to the firm beyond running reports and editing documents.  Unanet gives us the opportunity to serve differently, helping our local offices execute projects, win more business, and be more profitable.” Instead of creating friction, Unanet ERP AE has become a cultural rallying point within the firm, says Salnas. “People see how data is going to be easier to find and they’re fired up about that. It’s harmony.” To learn more about Unanet ERP AE and what it can do for your business, click here, or contact us here.

Why We Chose Unanet: Sierra7

by Kim KosterGovCon, News and Announcements

Jun 07, 2021

Part of our ongoing blog series detailing the reasoning behind a firm’s selection of Unanet’s ERP solution over other options. The firm: Sierra7 (sierra7.com) is a healthcare services and IT consulting firm that works with a variety of major federal and state government agencies including the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, Department of Defense and federal civilian agencies. Under its new agreement with Unanet, Sierra7 will implement Unanet’s purpose-built ERP platform to help it operate more efficiently and to give the consulting firm greater insights into project management. Prior to Unanet, Sierra7 managed their business management processes in other systems. Part of their challenges had arisen when they merged two companies and were then managing them both between Sage and QuickBooks. Closing the books for their 50+ projects every month was difficult, typically taking weeks and putting project managers behind with little ability to plan ahead. They knew they needed a better long-term solution to consolidate disparate information and streamline business processes: an ERP solution. When searching for the right ERP, Sierra7 had their need for real-time information and best-in-class customer support top of mind. Early on, Unanet stood out with its advanced functionality and flexibility during both the sales and implementation processes. “We were impressed with Unanet right off the bat. Their sales team brought in subject matter experts to have the right conversations with us at the right time. Unanet’s implementation process is incredibly flexible, and the team was dedicated to listening to and understanding our unique needs,” said Frank Rendon, chief financial officer, Sierra7. “When we were assessing ERP solutions, support was a key part of our grading criteria, and Unanet’s superior support offerings exceeded those expectations. Unanet’s next-level functionality, product roadmap, training options through Unanet University and support are all why chose the Unanet solution.” Sierra7 recently went live with Unanet. The Unanet team worked with them to create a custom implementation plan that will accelerate the roll-out of certain features to meet their unique needs while still keeping their planned go-live date. With Unanet, the Sierra7 team expects to gain time savings and real-time information that will allow them to drive their business forward. They will be able to provide PMs with more robust project and financial tracking, enabling their stakeholders to confidently make strategic decisions.

Why We Chose Unanet: True North Solutions

by Lucas HaydenA/E, News and Announcements

May 25, 2021

Part of an ongoing blog series highlighting the decision to select Unanet’s ERP solution over other options. The firm: True North Solutions, a growing engineering control system design firm with offices in the U.S. and Canada. True North offers its clients expanded services in cybersecurity, IoT, analytics, commissioning, industrial telecom, electrical, mechanical and process engineering. True North Solutions previously used various basic and disparate solutions to manage their business, including QuickBooks, Tenrox and homegrown spreadsheets. This worked fine—at first. The company was growing quickly and it became abundantly apparent that they needed to upgrade to a more comprehensive ERP system that could provide actionable insights, business intelligence, improved reporting and better visibility into project health, resource management and more. So, how did True North decide on Unanet? Unanet AE’s ease-of-use, service-oriented team, intuitive reporting and analytic capabilities, and overall transparency already set Unanet apart from the other leading ERP providers they assessed, but the benefits didn’t stop there. Because True North operates internationally, they have unique requirements to meet their overseas clients’ needs. Unanet A/E’s built-in multi-currency and multi-company capabilities will enable them to manage their growing business across borders with simple and seamless accounting and invoicing. Finally, True North’s commitment to honesty, integrity, and providing transparency for their clients align with Unanet’s core values and collaborative team approach. “As our firm expands, it has quickly become clear we needed improved reporting, project visibility, resource planning and management that simply wasn’t possible with the basic technology tools we currently have implemented,” said Blair Hanel, President, True North Solutions. “Unanet AE will give us reports and dashboards with real-time information so we can easily and quickly track project updates and make decisions based on up-to-date information. And most importantly, as we continue to grow domestically and internationally, we know Unanet AE will scale and expand with us.” True North expects to roll out Unanet AE to their employees in Denver and Calgary by mid 2021. Read more about why True North chose Unanet AE in our press release.

Why We Chose Unanet: HDL Engineering

by Lucas HaydenA/E, News and Announcements

May 11, 2021

Part of an ongoing blog series highlighting the decision to select Unanet’s ERP solution over other options. The firm: HDL Engineering, a leading Alaska-based engineering firm, delivers responsible civil, environmental, geotechnical and transportation engineering, along with surveying and mapping, planning, material testing, and construction administration throughout the state. Having started with just two employees, HDL Engineering successfully managed their projects with spreadsheets and off-the-shelf software. Over the past 20 years, HDL has become one of the largest engineering firms in Alaska, and these disparate systems were not keeping pace with their project management and accounting needs. HDL knew that as they expanded their major client base and their services, they needed an enterprise-wide solution they could trust to handle their budgeting, forecasting, and job costing. As they searched for the right ERP solution to meet their unique needs, the HDL team had a few things top of mind: ability to access and utilize real-time data, robust integration capabilities, full data control, and a modern, easy-to-use solution. When HDL found Unanet A/E, it was clear they found a solution that can provide the advanced capability they need to drive their business forward and scale with them as they grow. “Our project teams were operating in silos with spreadsheets. Each had their own budgets, forecasts, and finances, meaning our accounting operations were being heavily relied upon for project reporting and constantly playing catch up with the project managers,” said Jeff Fuglestad, Principal, HDL Engineering. “With Unanet, we’ll have real-time information, one single source of project data, and much better insight into project costs and profitability, which will inform better decisions across our projects and company.” With Unanet A/E, HDL Engineering expects to streamline their processes, enable smarter decision-making with real-time data, and have a reliable partner that will grow with them. Read more about HDL in our press release.

Why We Chose Unanet: Melwood, Inc.

by Kim KosterBusiness Development & Growth, GovCon, News and Announcements

Feb 24, 2021

Part of an ongoing blog series highlighting the decision to select Unanet’s ERP solution over other options.  The firm: A D.C.-area nonprofit that supports children, youth and adults with differing abilities to work and play where and how they choose. Melwood, Inc. provides employment, job training, life skill improvement, supportive and recreational services to more than 2,000 people with differing abilities each year.  To continue its mission and impact of helping train, employ and empower people with differing abilities, Melwood needed a solution to efficiently manage their projects and other operations.  When searching for the right software, Melwood looked for an all-in-one solution that would allow them to streamline their processes, and provide a people-centered support team that truly understood their unique needs and operations.  According to Greg Arteen, Melwood’s Vice President of the Information Systems Group, “With so many of our team members working on the front lines in the fight against COVID-19, it was important to us that we streamline our processes without disrupting the normal course of business in order to help our employees stay focused on what matters – keeping our federal workforce safe by providing them clean and sanitized workspaces so they continue doing the work of the nation.”  Melwood will leverage Unanet’s ERP for a variety of important compliance functions including DCAA Compliance and SCA/CBA labor costing, and will also leverage Unanet’s contract management, finance and inventory functions, among others.   Melwood will also use Unanet Connect, the industry’s first and only open ERP integration platform, to incorporate Melwood’s existing timekeeping software with Unanet. Melwood employees frequently rely on punch clocks for timekeeping, rather than complex web or mobile applications, and by integrating Unanet with Melwood’s existing timekeeping functions, Melwood can easily maintain its existing procedures while more efficiently managing the outcomes.

Introducing Unanet Connect: The New Industry Standard for Integrations, Automations and Collaboration

by Lucas HaydenIntegrations, News and Announcements

Oct 26, 2020

Finding reliable, scalable integrations between an ERP system and other critical business applications hasn’t been easy — until now. With the launch of Unanet Connect, Unanet customers gain access to the new industry standard for integrating the tools they use with Unanet’s lineup of project-based ERPs. Unanet Connect introduces an open, modern platform for integrations and automations that goes beyond APIs and features a marketplace with more than 100 pre-built application connectors that can be implemented at scale with an accelerated time to value. Unanet Connect provides government contractors, architects & engineers, and professional services firms with important building blocks for their digital transformation efforts. Simply by shopping the marketplace, they can create a fully integrated digital ecosystem with the Unanet project-based SaaS ERP solution at its center — an ecosystem that delivers increased efficiencies across systems, processes and teams, from sales to projects, expenses to payments and hiring to payroll and operations. Unanet Connect brings the app marketplace experience to the world of ERP, providing Unanet customers with a one-stop shop for data orchestration, workflow automation and improved team collaboration tools. Unanet customers can integrate with leading solutions, including Paylocity, ADP, BambooHR, Oracle, MS Teams, Box, DocuSign and HubSpot, to name just a few. The marketplace covers the full spectrum of business needs, with ready-to-implement integrations for CRM, HRIS, financials, project, payroll, contract management, inventory, expense, time, payments, productivity and more. These are robust integrations with some of the most in-demand, best-in-class business applications, built by a development team at Unanet that has produced many such integrations over the years. They stand up quickly and elegantly, and sync effortlessly across platforms, with Unanet’s purpose-built ERP solution as the backbone. You’ll find applications your organization is already using today, along with others you’ve considered implementing to run your business more efficiently. “Our commitment to customers is giving them elegant, integrated technology so they can run their entire businesses, not just their ERP, and with Unanet Connect, we’re delivering on that promise. As companies continue their digital transformations, Unanet Connect is the only tool that will allow them to scale their entire enterprise environment in a way that meets all of their unique needs, improving their business processes easily and simply,” said Assad Jarrahian, chief product officer, Unanet. What are integrations? Integrations are critical to any digital transformation. Essentially, integrations are the connections that enable various digital systems to function as a single unit. They connect the disparate software your organization uses so they interact and share information with one another without sacrificing functionality or data quality, and without requiring extra steps by the user. Why is making so many useful integrations available in the Unanet Connect marketplace such a big deal for our GovCon and A/E customers? Automation is a big reason. Using the tools available in Unanet Connect in tandem with Unanet’s ERP software unlocks the power of automated processes across an entire organization. So for example, the hand-off of a new project from the sales team to the project management team would automatically trigger the launch of DocuSign for the signing of project kick-off documents, with data about the new project and new customer transferring automatically from HubSpot into Unanet’s project-based ERP. It also unlocks the power of collaboration, enabling your teams to work from a single source of truth and around a central set of KPIs — to play off a single sheet of music, if you will. And let’s not overlook productivity. The more integrated your systems, processes and software are, the less time your people will spend on redundant data entry, fixing data entry errors, etc., and the more time they’ll have to focus on activities that bring value to your organization: serving customers, moving projects forward, exploring and developing new revenue opportunities and the like. To further streamline and support the integration process, Unanet Connect leverages enterprise-grade APIs that allow you to securely connect applications with end-to-end encryption and data masking for privacy along with robust tools to tailor integrations at scale with your organization’s needs, and with its digital transformation aspirations. The future of your business will depend largely on digital integration, workflow automation and scalable collaboration. With the launch of Unanet Connect, the future has arrived.
