Using Business Development

In this course, you will use all the different access points of mobile, outlook, and web application to accomplish high volume tasks, quickly and easily, for creating and growing your contact base, viewing and building relationships, and managing leads and opportunities. You will also learn to utilize dashboard and reporting features to track and analyze personal and firmwide progress.

Note for GovCon companies: The course materials and training environment provided in the class are not tailored for GovCon users, however the principles are the same and during the class GovCon users can perform the hands on exercises using their own CRM sandbox system.

Administering the System

In this course, you will review tasks specific to general administration of the system such as creating and modifying firm settings, value lists, records, dashboards, reports, templates, and workflows.

Using Publisher 4.0 with Adobe InDesign

In this course, you will review tasks specific to the Publisher 4.0 module and InDesign, such as creating and uploading IDML templates and generating InDesign documents with your CRM data.

Using Project Management

In this course, you will be introduced to Project Management functionality in Unanet AE, including planning, scheduling, and allocating resources to project, and defining work package assignments with activities. You will also learn about key reports and dashboards.

Using Analytics Dashboards Designer & Query Builder

In this course you will learn how to get up and running using Analytic Dashboards, build dashboards using the Analytic Dashboard Designer, and deploy rich data visualizations to your firm. You will also use Query Builder to dynamically build queries using available datasets, export queries as a .sql file or use them to build an Analytic Model, and employ them in custom Analytic Dashboards and reports.

Administering the System

In this course, you will review tasks specific to general administration of the system such as creating and modifying permissions, time, expenses, benefits, projects, reports, and dashboards.

Using Reporting & Analytics with Expressview

In this course, you will run, update, and create both ad hoc reports and ExpressView Analytics reports. You will learn the screen layouts and navigation, becoming familiar with the kinds of data available, and will use existing sample reports, and design custom reports.

Planning Project Resources

In this course, you will apply Unanet’s recommended practices to identifying the resources your projects need and creating plans and budgets based on corporate thresholds and contract stipulations. Additionally, you will generate reports to assess project plans and assignments, and determine which, if any, corrective action is necessary.
Level: Intermediate

Setting Up Contracts and Projects - Deep Dive

In this course, you will set up and manage contracts in association with projects, add wage determinations and clauses, and allow contract mods to drive updates to project dates and values. You will also create and manage projects with supported billing types, including project specific labor categories, expense types, and indirect rates. This allows for the support of common practices of managing projects to time, scope, and cost.

Closing the Fiscal Period

In this course you will learn to improve the accuracy and speed of closing activities, by reviewing the critical path to performing the period-end close, including posting labor, expenses, invoices, and revenue, as well as calculating cost pools and generating financial reports to catch variances and errors. Participants will synthesize their experience within Unanet’s different financial functional areas to analyze financial statements and project reports to assess the financial health of their organization.

Administering the System

In this course, you will review processes specific to general administration of the system and practice creating and modifying the configuration of the Admin Setup tables, including Accounting, Approval Groups, Expense, People, and Time.

Using Analytics Studio for Project Management Reporting

In this course, you will review project management using analytics. You will use the periodic JSR data object to create tabular, graphical, and pivoted data outputs, use conditional formatting and basic functions in Analytics Studio, and review the parameters involved. Upon completion of this course you will have created an analytics version of the periodic line and bar chart that can be exported and uploaded into your own Unanet instance.

Using Analytics Studio for Person Utilization Reporting

In this course, you will review options for developing person utilization reports using Analytics. You will learn how to calculate a person’s billable utilization, break out different project types, and leverage Analytics to build reports that simplify the standard Resource Allocation report. Upon completion of this course, you will have created a utilization by person crosstab and utilization MTD and YTD report with advanced formulas that can be exported and uploaded into your own Unanet instance.
