We are committed to our employees and are proud to offer a variety of benefits with flexibility and wellness in mind.

Health & Wellness
Unanet provides generous employer contributions to the medical premiums for employees and their dependents. For employee only coverage, Unanet covers 90-100% of premium, depending on the plan. For employees enrolled with dependents, Unanet covers 65-79% of premium dependent on coverage tier and plan. Please see the monthly medical deduction amounts on page four (4).

At Unanet, we understand that our employees are in different life stages, and we want to ensure there are options that meet every individual’s needs. Unanet offers three (3) Medical plans through UMR, including a high-deductible health plan (HDHP) which enables you to contribute pre-tax dollars to a Health Savings Account (HSA) of your choice. Employees enrolled in the HDHP will receive an employer contribution to their HSA. The current annual employer contributions are $750 Individual, $1,350 Family. In addition to the HDHP, Unanet offers two (2) comprehensive PPO plan options for you to choose from. All three plans include coverage for medically necessary gender affirmation treatment and procedures, infertility treatment, and reimbursement for travel and lodging for out of state procedures.

Unanet also offers two (2) Dental plans through Cigna and two (2) Vision plans through VSP. Our employees are eligible for our benefits plan effective the 1st of the month following their date of hire.

If you add a new eligible dependent to the medical plan as part of your new hire enrollment, during Open Enrollment, or due to a Qualified Life Event, you will be required to upload your proof of dependent coverage into Paylocity. Eligible dependents include your spouse, domestic partner and children up to age 26. You can refer to the list of acceptable documentation in the 2024 Benefits Webguide.

Flexible Spending Account
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) provide you the opportunity to save pre-tax dollars for eligible health and dependent care expenses. You can contribute up to $3,200 maximum, with a 2.5 month allowed grace period to incur expenses from the 2024 plan year, for Medical Reimbursements (HSA option for dental and vision only) and $5,000 for Dependent Care reimbursements.

401(k) Retirement Savings Plan
Unanet offers a 401(k) through Fidelity, with an employer match. Unanet matches 100% of the first 3% contributed by the employee and 50% of the next 2% contributed. Matching contributions are calculated on a per payroll basis. To leave no money on the table, if an employee contributes 5% Unanet will match 4%. Employees are immediately vested in our employer match and are eligible to contribute to both Roth and/or Traditional retirement plans. There is an auto-deferral of 6% for new hires if they don’t opt out, along with an auto-escalation of 1% annually up to 15% total. Additionally, our retirement advisor, Pensionmark, provides individual financial counseling at no additional cost to promote financial well-being.

Options vest on the following schedule: One-year cliff vesting of 25% of grant followed by 1/36th of the remainder per month for three subsequent years. Option grants are fully vested four (4) years from the vesting start date.

We work as a team and recognize the need for time off for rest and relaxation, to attend to personal matters that may arise and for various cultural and religious reasons. In addition to eleven (11) paid calendar holidays per year, Unanet offers Open Paid Time Off and a variety of other leave options. Pursuant to this policy, all eligible employees are permitted and expected to take time off in their reasonable discretion, subject to prior approval from their manager. Minimum PTO recommended to be taken annually is ten (10) days.
